Carpentry Workshop Volunteering

Making stools for the FRP’s shop

During the first week of March we will carry on making stools for the shop. Come and help us in our carpentry workshop to assemble some high stools and help us with our FRP orders. We reuse wood and make new products with character. You will be a part of a very nice team working. We offer cookies with tea or coffee.
As always huge thank you to everyone who helped us over the last few weeks!

Skills Needed: Competency in using drills for drilling and countersinking holes, using the orbital sander for sanding. Experience with using the chop saw is also advantageous but not essential.

The Commitment: Volunteers to help each Thursday –  7th of March.

All sessions start at 1.30pm and run until 4.00pm

Place: FRP at 2c Bakers Ave. London E17 9AW

Impact: Transforming our yard space to be more effective and more pleasant for us to all work in the future. Using reclaimed wood to make products for our community customers.

Interested? If yes, please email greg@frpuk.org to book a place on any or all of the dates.
