Carpentry Workshop Volunteering

Moving the workbenches

In February we will reorganise the workshop and we will be moving benches inside. This will really help us improve our working space and allow new ideas to flourish.

As always we will be sorting all the waste wood that can be cut down and reused and wood that goes to other wood waste recycling leaving us with a clean slate and new processes to help minimise waste moving forward.

You will be a part of a friendly team working on both of these on Thursdays.  Huge thank you to everyone who helped with yard clean up and making orders over the last few weeks!

Skills Needed: We welcome people of all skills and most of all enthusiasm for sorting out the yard and helping us make all the improvements. Basic carpentry skills are always welcome.

The Commitment: Volunteers to help each Thursday – 8th and 15th February.

All sessions start at 1.30pm and run until 4.00pm

Place: FRP at 2c Bakers Ave. London E17 9AW

Impact: Transforming our yard space to be more effective and more pleasant for us to all work in the future. Using reclaimed wood to make products for our community customers.

Interested? If yes, please email greg@frpuk.org to book a place on any or all of the dates.
