On Friday 7 June from 5.30 pm for about 2 hours, we’ll have an opening evening with the artists who created our E17 Art Trail exhibition: photographer Joanne Segars and textile artist (and our own fabric mentor) Penny Gunn.
We want to invite everyone interested in greener, sustainable, low-cost living to come to our Meet The Artist evening and speak to Joanne, Penny and the staff of Forest Recycling Project about what we can do together to make Waltham Forest (and beyond!) more eco-friendly.
Joanne will talk about her photography project documenting the reclaimed paint journey and other creative endeavours that sprang out of her collaboration with FRP last year.
Whether you are an artist or a member of the public enjoying the Art Trail, come along and get to know us! (We’ll have drinks and nibbles too…)
