Give & Take FREE Event

14 July 2024 - Langthorne Park

Waltham Forest’s Festival of

Reuse and Repair

Bring donations for the ever-popular free Give & Take led by us and Walthamstow Toy Library!

Simply bring something along you no longer use to give and take something away you need. Donations will be accepted from 10.30 am on the day (so half an hour before the event starts.) You can also bring your items to our warehouse (Unit 7, The Sidings, E11 1HD) on Thursday 7 March between 11am and 4pm, if that’s more convenient.

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?
Gently used clothes, toys, books, bric-a-brac, arts and crafts, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are welcome, as well as small electricals which will be PAT-tested on the day. We will also accept garden tools and  house plants so if you have any that need a new home, bring them along!

You can donate just about anything, as long as it is in good condition: garden tools, items and plants, bikes and accessories, clothes and textiles, small furniture (anything that can be carried by one person- like a chair), mirrors and frames, small electrical items and tools.

!!!

WE CANNOT ACCEPT:  VHS tapes, CDs and DVDs, large furniture including mattresses and white goods, dirty and broken things and underwear won’t be accepted.

The Reuse and Repair Fairs tour Waltham Forest in March, May and July with a range of initiatives including: Free Give and Take (Please bring donations from 11.30am), Electronics Repair Café, Bike Repairs, Clothes Mending and many workshops.
