Green Champions Foundation Programme - we all need to start somewhere.

The Green Champions Foundation Programme is completely dedicated to new volunteers who are in need of some wellbeing support. We welcome adult volunteers in supported and sociable sessions which are designed to increase confidence, and positive mental well-being. It is ideally suited for people who might feel isolated or anxious and want to contribute to their community.

Together, we are increasing our positive environmental impact and engaging more local people. We give support, encouragement, and training to participants. It is very inclusive and we can work with people who need extra support.

FRP Green Champions has been made possible by generous funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, since 2022. Hundreds of people have joined us in workshops and volunteering and we have made a massive environmental impact. The current workshop programme is ending in September 2025.

Patch and Repurpose continues with North London Waste Authority Community Funding, with workshops teaching people to sew in Walthamstow and Edmonton. You can find out more about this under Community Work in the website menu

Our retail, tool library and events work continue, and we really appreciate everyone’s support with these.

We hope to do more in future and we are seeking more funding.

If you would like to hear more as soon as we have anything to share, and to follow FRP’s work more widely, please make sure that you are registered for our FRP email newsletters as we will send all news out there first. You can also follow us on social media.
