Carpentry Workshop Volunteering

Giant Bee Hotel Prototype Making

Join Us in Building Giant Bee Hotels – Volunteers Needed!

We’re excited to announce that we are embarking on an ambitious project to create prototypes of giant bee hotels, and we need your help! These constructions will be larger than what we’ve traditionally made, and your contribution will play a crucial role in preserving biodiversity.

Why Volunteer? By joining our friendly team, you’ll be directly involved in a project that supports our vital pollinators. Not only will you help in the creation of these essential habitats, but you’ll also have the chance to learn new skills, make new friends, and have a positive impact on the environment.

What We Need:

  • Skills: We welcome volunteers of all skill levels, but we especially appreciate those with basic carpentry skills. If you know how to use a drill, that’s a huge plus!
  • Enthusiasm: Even if you’re new to this type of work, your enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.

The Commitment: 19th of September, 26th of September

All sessions start at 1.30 pm and run until 4.00 pm. We provide tea and coffee.

Place: FRP at 2c Bakers Ave. London E17 9AW

Impact: Transforming our workspaces to be more effective and more pleasant for us to all work in the future. Using reclaimed wood to make products for our community customers.
