We can offer different type of volunteering

FRP involves volunteers in a range of ways – please look at the opportunities below.

We offer General Thursday Volunteering, Green Champions Foundation Volunteering and volunteering in a shop.

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide distinctive and rewarding volunteering opportunities which make a real and positive difference for our volunteers, whether through being a stepping stone into a job, giving a boost to overall well-being, or helping be a greater part of the local community and meet new people.

FRP welcomes people from all backgrounds as volunteers.  Our volunteering is organised in a programme called Green Champions, that is designed to help us achieve our environmental and social aims, whilst increasing positive mental wellbeing and confidence.

FRP has an email newsletter with volunteering opportunities at FRP and other local environmental organisations and projects, and a general newsletter.  Please sign up to receive our newsletters here.  Both newsletters will be sent approximately monthly.

Green Champions Foundation Programme

The Green Champions Foundation Programme provides two hands-on workshops. Each session includes small groups of 4-5 people, allowing for personalised guidance and support. The programme is designed to increase confidence and promote positive mental well-being, and contribute to their community.​

Help in the Shop and Events
