These are wonderful, cash-free, community events that divert a huge amount of things from waste.  People simply bring things (in reasonable condition) that they don’t want and/or take things from the donations that they do.  We receive and organise the donations, keep basic records, and help keep everything running smoothly.

We would welcome, as always, your volunteer support if you are available.  You can help make the event a success!  We will be there from around 10am to 3.30pm; the event is 11am to 3pm.  If you can come for any part of that, you would be welcome and appreciated.  We can cover your travel and lunch costs if you have them.  You are also welcome to make the most of the event – not just the Give and Take, but other services on site (see the event link above for more details).
