Carpentry Workshop Volunteering

General workshop organisation and help with FRP’s orders

Carpentry workshop
We need volunteers to help us with orders, workshops, and yard cleaning. As always we will be doing some de-nailing and sanding scaffolding boards. We will sort out small tools, tool cupboards, and different accessories in our workshop.
We might be working on our roof above the open working space therefore we might ask you to help us take the old roof down. No work on heights.

You will be a part of a friendly team working on Thursdays. Thank you to everyone who helped us make orders over the last few weeks!

Skills Needed: We welcome people of all skills and most of all enthusiasm for sorting and helping us make improvements. Basic carpentry skills are always welcome.

The Commitment: Volunteers to help each Thursday – 4th July, 11th July, 18th July.

All sessions start at 1.30 pm and run until 4.00 pm. We provide tea and coffee.

Place: FRP at 2c Bakers Ave. London E17 9AW

Impact: Transforming our workspaces to be more effective and more pleasant for us to all work in the future. Using reclaimed wood to make products for our community customers.

Interested? If yes, please email greg@frpuk.org to book a place on any or all of the dates.
