We’re delighted to be taking part in the Walthamstow Art Trail 2026!
We’re proud to present the inspiring photography of Joanne Segars @joannesegars from her ongoing project Leftovers, documenting the story of our team and our much-loved initiative- Paint it Green.
Paint it Green showcases FRP’s mission to build a greener and more inclusive community through reclaiming, repurposing, and affordably re-selling leftover paint. Joanne’s photographs follow the journey of donated paint - from council recycling centres, through processing in our warehouse, to finding a new life in homes and community projects. Instead of becoming waste and being incinerated, the paint becomes part of the circular economy, helping reduce environmental harm while supporting local people.
We will also be exhibiting the wonderful work created by our textile mentor Penny and participants from our Patch & Repurpose workshops. At FRP, we believe reuse and repair are not only about reducing waste, but also about bringing people together and sharing practical skills. Through our workshops, participants learn how to transform old textiles into something new, useful, and beautiful - and this year, we’re excited to showcase their creations.
We invite you to visit our shop at 2C Bakers Avenue over two special weekends to explore these beautiful photographs and handmade pieces.

This 10-week journey is all about learning how to mend and reimagine textiles in a relaxed, supportive space.

Through hands-on sessions, you’ll explore visible mending techniques, creative upcycling, and simple textile projects you can continue at home. Along the way, you’ll build practical sewing skills, grow your creative confidence, and enjoy the wellbeing benefits of making in a social, encouraging group.
No experience needed - just curiosity!

Help FRP Make a Bigger Impact - Double Your Donati Help FRP Make a Bigger Impact - Double Your Donation This Week!
To our amazing FRP community - today is Earth Day and feels like the perfect day to share some exciting news.
We're taking part in Big Give's Earth Rise campaign, and so every donation made between midday 22nd April and midday 29th April will be doubled - at absolutely no extra cost to you! And if you pay tax, we can claim gift aid too.
£1 donated becomes £2.50.
£20 donated becomes £45.
Simple as that!
What are we campaigning for?
At FRP, our mission is to reduce waste and protect the environment through reuse, reclaim and repair. We rescue unwanted paint - which becomes toxic waste when thrown away - and give it a new life through quality checks, mixing and refreshing, turning it into affordable, eco-friendly options for everyone. We also reclaim textiles and timber, working towards a more sustainable and affordable future for all.
Why does your donation matter?
It's important work reclaiming paint, but our costs have been rising all the time and we're at a point where we want to do more but need more income to do that. The money from this campaign is going to enable us to sustain and grow paint reclaim - reducing waste and making affordable home improvements accessible to those who need it most.
How can you help?
Simply visit frpuk.org and click the DONATE button or follow the link in our bio - you'll be directed straight to the Big Give page where your donation will be doubled. Every single pound makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of this — together we can build a greener, more affordable future for all.
