We're thrilled to announce that the Forest Recycling Project will be taking part in Big Give's Earth Rise campaign — and we need YOUR help to make history! 🙌
Last year you helped us raise over £1,200 and this year we want to go even further. 🎯 From 22nd – 29th April, every donation we receive will be matched, meaning your support goes twice as far for forests, recycling, and the communities we serve. 💚♻️
Head to the link in our bio from 12pm on 22nd April to donate and double your impact. Let's smash last year's record together! 🌍

✨ The Scrap Project ✨ The Scrap Project has now c ✨ The Scrap Project ✨
The Scrap Project has now come to an end - and what a journey it has been.
Through a series of workshops by Forest Recycling Project, funded by National Lottery Awards for All, our community came together to rethink waste. We were joined by an incredible group of creative, open-minded people - some experienced makers, others just starting out - all bringing their own ideas, skills, and perspectives.
The atmosphere throughout the workshops was something truly special: warm, welcoming, and full of encouragement. People shared techniques, helped one another, exchanged stories, and weren’t afraid to experiment. It became a space not just for making, but for connecting, learning, and simply enjoying the process.
With no strict instructions - just a simple challenge - participants transformed small fabric scraps into something meaningful. Tote bags, silk scarves, quilts, abstract pieces, and even a pouf made from small pieces of fabics began to take shape - each one completely unique.
Together, we gave new life to over 4.5 kilos of fabric, showing how imagination and collaboration can turn what might be waste into something truly valuable 💚

A special shoutout to Anita, our amazing colleagues, and all the volunteers who helped make it happen — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💪👏
Every metre of fabric sold helps reduce waste, fund our projects, and keep materials in use for longer.

🎨 Production & carpentry companies — this one's fo 🎨 Production & carpentry companies — this one's for you.
Every year, 55 million litres of paint goes to waste in the UK. We know you're left with leftover tins after every job. Instead of chucking them, bring them to FRP and let us redistribute them sustainably to people who actually need them. 🌱
Swipe to see how it works 👉
Please note: we charge a small fee to accept paint — we're a charity, not a waste disposal service, and this helps us keep doing what we do.

So what actually is reclaimed paint? 🤔🎨 You know So what actually is reclaimed paint? 🤔🎨
You know when you finish decorating and have loads of leftover paint sitting in the garage? Most people end up taking it to their local waste site — and that's where we come in.
We collect that leftover paint, check it's still good quality, and resell it to people in the community at affordable prices.
No waste. No unnecessary production. Just perfectly good paint getting a second life. ♻️
It's called the circular economy — and it's one of the simplest ways we can all reduce waste together. 🌱
