Walthamstow Tool Library 6th birthday
Join us for the celebration!
We couldn’t run a WTL’s anniversary without fruit pressing. That is just a tradition from now on. 6 years ago we wouldn’t dream of it at all. We want to celebrate with you, a tool library success. Over 600 tools, 500+ members. And we keep growing!
This year’s activitiesย include:
– fruit pressing. So please bring your fruit, and containers to take home delicious juice.
– refurbish your cutting board. We provide sanders, sanding paper, masks and ear defenders. You bring your board to give them a new life. (one board per person).
– seed swap. Bring your seeds, bulbs or cuttings to swap with other plant enthusiasts,
– bee box making. For your garden, windowsill, or allotment. Let the bees in! Pollinators are really important to FRP. You can read about our ongoing projectย here.
– children colouring. We have plenty of tools-themed colouring sheets. Bring your young ones!
– blowing candles. Don’t eat too big lunch, as we will provide you with delicious home made cakes, and refreshments.
We invite all members and non-members. Kids must be supervised at all times. Dogs are welcome.
