Tool Librarian
Tool Library needs your Help!
Tool Librarians interact with our members. They prepare tool reservations, hand them out to members, making sure returned items are cleaned and in good condition, update loan transactions on our database, and generally provide information about using our tool library. As we regularly receive tool donations, there are also lots of admin tasks such as cataloguing , organising and maintaining our inventory.
Skills needed: No need to have experience with tools, but you need to be passionate about our social & environmental mission and ready to represent them to the community. It does help to be a people’s person – but it can also be the ideal position to train those soft skills!
Place: 2a Priory Court, London, E17 5LS
Time: Shifts are three to four hours. Minimum of one shift per month. Tuesdays 4pm – 7pm, Saturday 10 am – 1 pm.
